Capability 05

One number, and finance signs off on it.

Server-side collection, consent-aware identity and a single agreed source of truth your finance team will sign off — the layer every other capability in this practice sits on top of.

Platform-reported numbers are optimistic by design

Every ad platform is incentivised to over-report its own contribution. Left unreconciled, that bias compounds into a budget allocation that no longer matches reality.

We build a server-side collection layer for every engagement before we touch a single budget line — events fired from your infrastructure rather than solely from a browser pixel, so conversions survive ad blockers, browser privacy changes and multi-device journeys instead of quietly disappearing from the count. Identity resolution runs on a consent-aware basis, so the same customer is recognised across sessions without relying on tracking methods that regulators or browsers are actively phasing out.

The output is a single reconciled number — not a dashboard per platform — checked against your billing or CRM system on an agreed cadence, and shared with whoever signs off your board reporting before it is used to make a single budget decision. When platform-reported and reconciled numbers diverge, and they usually do, we document the gap and the reason for it rather than quietly picking whichever number is more flattering.

Three components, in order

  1. Collection

    Server-side events

Conversions captured from infrastructure you control, not solely from a browser pixel.

  2. Identity

    Consent-aware resolution

Customers recognised across sessions and devices without relying on tracking methods being phased out.

  3. Reconciliation

    One number, signed off

A single figure checked against your ledger on an agreed cadence, gaps documented rather than hidden.
